The 2025 International Conference on Energy, Power, and Electrical Technology (ICEPET 2025), heldin Chengdu from April 25 to 27, 2025, successfully concluded. Sponsored by Xihua University with technical sponsorship from IEEE and the IEEE Chengdu Section, the conference was co-organized by multiple schools and research institutes of Xihua University including the School of Energy and Power Engineering, School of Electrical Engineering and Electronic Information, School of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Key Laboratory of Fluid and Power Machinery (Ministry of Education), Sichuan Key Laboratory of Fluid Machinery and Engineering, Sichuan Provincial Engineering Research Center for Hydroelectric Energy and Power Equipment Technology, as well as the Overseas Chinese Federation of Xihua University and Academic ExchangeInformationCenter (AEIC). The event received substantial support from collaborating institutions such as the University of Guelph (Canada), Sichuan Electric Power Industry Association, Sichuan Society for Electrical Engineering, Sichuan University Jinjiang College, Chengdu Electric Power Industry Association, Qinghai Institute of Technology, Chengdu Concept Verification Center (Smart Technologies for New Power Systems Industrial Sector), and Chengdu Zheshengjia Technology Development Co., Ltd. With technical support provided by AiScholar, this hybrid conference attracted over 200 experts and scholars from nearly 100 universities worldwide to discuss cutting-edge developments in energy, power and electrical technologies through both online and offline participation.
2025年4月25至27日，2025年能源、电力与电气国际学术会议（ICEPET 2025）在成都圆满落幕。本次会议由西华大学主办，IEEE及IEEE成都分会提供技术支持，西华大学能源与动力工程学院、电气与电子信息学院、航空航天学院、流体及动力机械教育部重点实验室、流体机械及工程四川省重点实验室、四川省水电能源动力装备技术工程研究中心、西华大学侨联及 AEIC学术交流中心共同承办，并得到加拿大圭尔夫大学、四川省电力行业协会、四川省电机工程学会、四川大学锦江学院、成都电力行业协会、青海理工学院、成都市概念验证中心（新型电力系统智能技术产业领域）及成都哲晟嘉科技发展有限公司的大力支持。并由AiScholar艾思科蓝提供全流程技术服务保障。会议聚焦能源、电力与电气技术领域的前沿动态，通过线上线下结合的形式，吸引全球近百所高校的200余名专家学者参与。
The opening ceremony was held on the morning of April 26, 2025, chaired byProf. Li Zhang, Deputy Director of the Key Laboratory of Fluid and Power Machinery (Ministry of Education) at Xihua University. Prof. Xiaobing Liu, former Vice President of Xihua University and Director of the Key Laboratory of Fluid and Power Machinery (Ministry of Education), delivered the opening speech. He emphasized the urgent need for technological innovation in global energy transition, calling for focused efforts on key areas such as renewable energy development, smart grid optimization, and energy internet construction. He also affirmed the conference's significant role in advancing international academic collaboration. Distinguished guests attending the ceremony included Prof.Qifeng Jiang, Dean of the School of Aeronautics and Astronautics at Xihua University; Weimin Kuang, Deputy Secretary-General of the Sichuan Electric Power Industry Association; Tong Zhang, Project ManagerofResearch and Statistics Department; and Tianxiang Hu from the Chengdu Concept Verification Center (Smart Technologies for New Power Systems Industrial Sector).
4月26日上午，开幕式由西华大学流体及动力机械教育部重点实验室副主任张力副教授主持。西华大学原副校长、流体及动力机械教育部重点实验室主任刘小兵教授在致辞中强调，全球能源转型亟需技术创新，呼吁聚焦可再生能源开发、智能电网优化、能源互联网构建等核心方向，并肯定会议对推动国际学术合作的重要价值。西华大学航空航天学院院长江启峰教授、四川省电力行业协会副秘书长邝伟民、调研统计部课题研究管理张桐、成都市概念验证中心（新型电力系统智能技术产业领域）胡天湘等嘉宾出席开幕式。

The conference featured a robust agenda, with equally remarkable parallel sessions in the afternoon. Four session chairs—Disheng Wang, Aimin Wang, Yaguang Heng, and Shengnan Yan from Xihua University—chaired over two specialized sub-forums. A total of 52 scholars from prestigious institutions, including Zhejiang University, Sichuan University, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, South China University of Technology, Southwest Jiaotong University, Southwest Petroleum University, Chengdu University of Technology, Qinghai University, Liaoning Technical University, Southwest Minzu University, and Xihua University, delivered oral presentations. Participants engaged in in-depth discussions on cutting-edge topics, fostering a dynamic and intellectually stimulating academic exchange.
本次会议议程丰富，下午分会场环节同样精彩纷呈。下午2个专题分会场由分会场主席西华大学王棣生、王爱民、衡亚光、闫盛楠等4位老师主持，来自浙江大学、四川大学、华中科技大学、华南理工大学、西南交通大学、西南石油大学、成都理工大学、青海大学、辽宁工程技术大学、西南民族大学、西华大学等52名学者进行口头报告分享。与会学者围绕前沿议题展开深度研讨，现场学术讨论热烈。
To recognize outstanding achievements, three categories of academic awards were established: Best Paper, Best Oral Presentation, and Best Poster. After rigorous evaluation by the organizing committee, five Best Paper Awards, eleven Best Oral Presentation Awards, and two Best Poster Awards were presented. These awards not only acknowledge the recipients’ academic excellence but also encourage the innovative spirit of all attendees.
